Abstract

This seminar will include a series of practice talks on the following papers featured in SODA 2024:

• Bin Packing under Random-Order: Breaking the Barrier of 3/2;
• Fair Price Discrimination; and
• Fast and Accurate Approximations of the Optimal Transport in Semi-Continuous and Discrete Settings.
