The Computer Science 2024 graduation ceremony will be held at the Durham Convention Center, Ballrooms A-C, 301 W. Morgan Street, Durham, NC 27701. Register now.
To accommodate demand and a limited venue capacity, we will issue tickets to graduating students with CS as a first major. While graduating CS students, faculty, and staff do not need them, tickets are required for graduating students' guests to enter — and they are limited! You’ll receive the number of tickets you sign up for (up to 7 maximum free of charge). Register now!
Ticket distribution will take place Monday, April 29 - Friday, May 10, 2024. Students must register by Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Tickets are not available in-person on the day of the event. Below are the distribution details — days, times, and locations:

Due to limited seating and restrictions set by the fire marshal, there will be an Overflow Room to accommodate guests who exceed the Main Event Hall's capacity. Guests seated in the Overflow Room will be able to watch the ceremony via large screen monitor. Also, Main Event Hall seats will only be held until 10am. Guests who arrive after 10:00 AM will automatically be directed to seating in the Overflow Room.
All bags and purses must be clear plastic and no larger than 14-inches by 14-inches by 6-inches. Small bags, clutches, and/or wallets 8-inches by 5-inches x 1-inch or smaller which are not clear are permitted, but will be subject to a security check. 1-gallon clear plastic storage bags are also permitted.
9:00 AM Graduates arrive
10:00 AM Procession starts. NOTE: Main Event Hall seats are held only until 10:00 AM.
10:15 AM Computer Science Diploma Ceremony, with Graduates' Group Photos to immediately follow. Boxed lunches will be provided.
