Hi! My name is Taylor Moorehead, and I am a senior from Woodstock, MD studying Computer Science and Economics with a minor in Mathematics. On campus, I am an executive member of Duke Quantitative Finance, the social chair of the Cube Entrepreneurship LLC, and a tour guide for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The past two summers, I worked in Chicago and Austin as a Quantitative Trader Intern. In my free time, I enjoy playing spikeball and going to Duke basketball games with my friends.
Favorite Class: Design and Analysis of Algorithms (COMPSCI 330) was by far one of my favorite courses at Duke. The class is centered around problem-solving, which made of all the assignments super engaging, one of which was a case study where we implemented our own algorithms into a ride-sharing platform. Last summer, I used the theory we learned at my internship almost every day!
